Landscaping...kinda.

It's been a long time since I made an update, mostly due to the new business but am starting to get the bug and fix this place up again. So, last Sunday I got in my mind I wanted to make a new hang out area in the backyard with a fire pit. This is what I have so far. It's either on it's way to being a good idea or a big mistake and a waste of time shoveling a bunch of rocks. Open to suggestions on what I should do to finish this up nice.

I kinda went to town and got my office all put together over the last couple of days. The only thing missing now is a big TV above my computer Desk!

Don't know why it took me this long to put two and two together but it finally happened and this is the result!

The day has finally come and my floors are now complete. I did the baseboards today, not to bad for my first time. There is some minor touchups to attend to at some point but, I'm movin' in anyway!

Baseboards!

Decided to save a bit of money and try and do my office baseboards myself. After work today I ran by Home Depot and tried to squeeze in a bundle of 12ft. planks into my car. I think the picture tells the tale of victory! It almost feels like I can fit just about anything in that little car. Now since I don't have a proper miter saw i get to fight with that little yellow box saw, oh yippie, I can't wait.

Office flooring...

Now that I've gone back and forth on what floors to get in this place I have finally just chosen one. All the other floors I kept picking ended up being sooo expensive for this little room for whatever reason. I finally just found a laminent flooring that was in stock and I could take home that day. Not my favorate choice but think it will still look nice and I won't have to baby it cause it should be really strong. Come Thursday, time for the install!
